Shares of ImClone Systems fell 3 percent in afternoon trading after CNBC reported that the embattled biotech firm's former CEO could face charges from the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as the Justice Department. Citing unnamed sources, CNBC reported that Samuel Waksal had received a notice from the SEC that the agency is considering taking an eforcement action against him. Federal prosecutors are also considering charges, according to the report. Shares of ImClone (IMCL) dropped 39 cents to $8.56 in recent dealings.
