A quote from today's news: "2003 to exercise a development option, says it cannot force residents out: Peruvian law does not provide for expropriation of land for mining projects"

Then it quotes: "However, the constitution says land can be taken away "for national security or public necessity" after due compensation." But the land is already productive.

Therefore no mining project. Management has goofed up.
