12:52 ET Microsoft Xbox hacked by MIT student (MSFT) 49.82 +0.40: Reuters reports that an MIT student has discovered a way to circumvent the Xbox security system, allowing hackers to use it to run competing software and potentially discover the identity of online users. The student discovered the hole in a "secret boot block" that is encoded into a processing chip built for the Xbox by Nvidia (NVDA). This story does not appear to be having an impact on either stock.
