The Pier is a really cool building. Most people don't know but it was the site of MTV's Seattle - Real World before it was Go2NET.

I was fortunate enough to get a tour once. It was a way cool place and a stark contrast to the INSP headquarters in a new high rise in downtown Bellevue (the burbs). Both could be considered symbols of the culture of the two groups and like oil and water, they did not and never could mix.
