Yeah, I mean a lot of them are justing running hypothetical numbers through their spreadsheets. It's like preparing a budget. You use your best guess numbers in your best guest situation. Having said that, I also do know there are some very knowledgeable analysts out there also.
As for CNBC raising some to celebrity status; I think the only basis for them getting on TV was there physical appearance and ability to speak in front of the camera.
