Thanks Gottfried. For my purposes the NASDAQ Tick is interesting but useless. That is unless I can put it on a chart with RSI and Bollinger Bands or actually see the historical prices myself. Now the VIX I can understand and measure based on past performance and compare and correlate the reaction of the SOX.

VIX up... SOX down... That makes sense to me. The reverse has been holding up as well as the VIX is overextended as of today. It falls and the SOX and NASDAQ both rise at least for a while.

You might consider using Astrikos. This is the one that I use.

Most all of the indices are there and they update every few seconds throughout the trading day.

I have seen the NAZ tick go below -1000 on this site many times.
