MG, I would think that the cost cuts, combined with a modest recovery, would result in a strong earnings rebound from current depressed levels rather than the 4-6% and 7-9% growth they suggest for sales. Improved operating leverage and easy comparisons.

Also consider that they are probably (hopefully) being very conservative in their guidance - a little fear of disappointing and a little bit of sandbagging. But maybe I give them too much credit.

I stopped by CompUSA in Santa Clara today. The shelf is now 1/4 Compaq, 1/4 HP, 1/4 eMachines, and 1/4 Sony Vaio.
