Oh!!!! You are saying that I said that *Dubbya* lied under oath :)

I finally understand what you are saying... Hallelujah!

I thought you were accusing me of calling someone here on the SI thread a 'liar', now that I know you were referring to the Prez... will I think he's a Big enough Scrub to take it!

Actually, all I said was that there was sworn testimony from two or more people which disagreed with Dubbya's sworn testimony in the influence-peddling case known popularly as 'Funeralgate'.

Since there *is* such testimony, I certainly don't think that I have 'lied' (although if they swore falsely, I may have unknowingly repeated their falsehood).

All we in the public have to go on is what's public information.... and since The Texas Governor and Service Corp of America settled this case (paying off the whistle-blower who brought suit) and had the facts of the case SEALED BY COURT ORDER, then the public will never know any more.

All I know is: two under oath said he lied under oath, Dubbya said he didn't, case was settled just before it was scheduled to go to Court... where he would have been forced to repeat or deny his original statement, thus potentially giving rise to new charges, and they PAID OFF THE WHISTLEBLOWER to stop the case.

If anyone wants to draw inferences from that, as I have, they are free to do so.
