They were reduced by MSDW and GS last week. RS only modelled 76 million after the last earnings report.

I'm still bugged by why merq didn't raise current year guidance when they had an extra four cents in the bag already last quarter and why Tom Siebel sounded "unconfident" in forward guidance last cc vs his previous tone.

If you read what the Ceo of chkp had to say in the Globe today you'd know it was similar to what other software companies have said.... we've done ok the last couple months and we're encouraged by our prospective clients but they're not signing on the dotted line yet (it's still a back end loaded quarter and we're hopeful we'll close the deals to make our numbers but we're very hopeful we can pull it off).

Sebl has met the minimum downside target on a technical basis. Most everything was pretty oversold with a rising vix and vxn.... I don't know if it's really anything more than a technically based short covering rally.... who would until earnings are out?

So they giving ya hassles? Nice they're so perfect huh?
