To say that the economic expansion of the 90's was due to Reagan a joke. Hey, I say that every good thing that happened to the USA since 1932 was due to FDR, and every bad thing due to Nixon (yes, even before he took office). Reagan actually EXTENDED the life of the USSR by presenting a rallying point to the dying Soviet Union. They needed a bogey man to rally the troops around a flawed ideology, so they turned to Ronald 'We Start Bombing Today' Reagan. The USSR would have collapsed years earlier if not for Reagan's belligerent postures that made the US look so threatening. What rational, right thinking person believes that the USSR died because of our chest thumping instead of under the economically disasterous conditions that communism creates!? If Clinton had taken office during an economic heyday, and managed to destroy the economy and stock market into today's ruinous state, the Republicans would be screaming for his impeachment. If Hillary had done one of the president's radio shows, the Republicans would be screaming that she was running the show. Oh, like Nancy and her astrologers? Please! Ronnie thought half the time that he was playing in a movie instead of really being the president, but, then again, he really wasn't, was he?
