OT/Merryfield; I think you are correct.

I just happened to read the copyright requirements of an article I recently posted. Never really thought about it before, but in many instances there are copyright issues.

Some companies want their stuff posted, they just want you to post the original author, link and possibly some other stuff along with the print in the article. Other companies don't want their stuff posted (or reposted), as you indicate.

Shortly after I noted the copyright issues, I ran into the same problem as Michael did, on Yahoo!. I've tried to be more careful about it, since. Kind of a nuisance, but if I was an author I might get a little peeved at people posting my stuff all over the place ..or if I didn't want them to do such maybe I wouldn't post it in the first place.

Youre probably right. But I posted a link to this thread and the message that I showed.

Anyway now Yahoo will not let me post anything on the message boards for the brokers.
