...if you can't realize that the sudden appearance of Ms. Hill and her sad story was itself a conveniently timed smear campaign against Clarence Thomas first and foremost, then certainly a penetrating of your prejudice with the tool of truth isn't likely possible.

I've read a few other articles and such. Looks like a red-herring "find anything on Bush" Demolib issue.

The press must have thought the same thing because it didn't go very far.

The problem with all these "gotcha Bush" supposed scandals. Is for every one of these, there are a dozen Gore scandals. The things we dragged up on Gore during the campaign were amazing. From his zinc mining record, to his lies regarding his mother using dog medication, to his slumlord activity, the list was massive. And whether you admire Bush or not, the choice was between Gore and Bush in the last election.
