Jay, Aztec Au is up to $330 from $270. QUALCOMM is up to $32 from $24. That's a bigger percentage increase. Leap is down from $10 to $2. Much is down big chunks in just a few weeks. Gold's price moves are small compared with the equity moves. Currencies also move relatively slowly: NZ$ from US40c to US50c [yawn]. QUALCOMM moves a lot more than that.

True, the fun of participation is often over-rated and watching is often fun enough. Even the imagination of the event and the getting there is often a lot more fun than the reality of being there.

8% a year? You and Warren Buffett are too polite. If that's all you want to squish out, you should succeed. But I think you actually expect more than that. I do.

The next big thing is telecoms. Telecoms and cyberspace is still nascent. The cybermind has barely begun. That's the big abracadabra.
