Here's a question for you. I saw that. I knew what you meant. I guessed how you might react. I considered sticking in the other "o." But changing a quote isn't kosher. I considered inserting the "o" in brackets, but thought that would call even more attention to it. I could have omitted the point to which I was responding and just started with my response but that would have been rude. I pondered all that for perhaps two seconds. So the question is: what is the correct thing to do? Or perhaps the question is: does it matter that we ponder such a question at all?
