PartyTime, the name "derek lawrence peterson" *does* show up for me in a site search for the Savannah Morning News (see: savannahnow.com. As to why there was no coverage of yesterday's scheduled court date it could simply be the hearing was rescheduled, happened too late for publication, or the paper didn't feel it necessary to send a reporter over there.

I suppose what you really want to know is why the press hasn't deemed the story newsworthy enough to carry on a national level. To get that answer, you might e-mail or call the SMN reporter who wrote the original story (her e-mail address is listed at savannahnow.com.

From what I read it was a half a stick of dynamite, and it didn't even blow up. Not very exciting compared to a Exploding Happy Face bomber. -g-
