Noooooow, Bob...Y2K was NOT a hoax...
.....industry spent millions re-tooling.

... The Fed Reserve printed BILLIONS in new currency, stashing it on military installations around USA,

....and millions more to transport it back to the federal reserve after Y2K.

....Industry spent millions creating an excess of inventory ---which we are just about worked through for the anticipated supply disruptions.

...dozens of unwanted criminals were prevented from crossing borders into USA up here in WAshington state.

...the electrical power grid was broken and repaired and is stronger than ever before.

...oodles and oodles of bureaucratic ink was expended creating Presidential edicts and bureacratic layers.

If it was a HOAX or a tribute to the genius and industry of some techno-geeks, well, I'll let the history books record that slant. However, not too many people in my recent memory have had the audacity to call Alan Greenspan the King of all Hoax Perps.

So, let's cut the junk silver buying public some slack, okay?. After all they have Bunker Hunt for company. And then there is brother Buffets silverware hoard...<LOL>
