Funny you should mention root beer floats....While on the "show the NW off tours" last week, we went to a place called Nifty Fifty's.....complete with real juke boxes, turquoise and pink and chrome tables and fountain stools....plus Green River and Root Beer Floats, real milk shakes in the stainless made from scratch cans....and the BEST hamburger all of us had had in ages....Too much fun! (and probably a couple of extra pounds too....)
