Mike,
This might sound strange, but in reality I don't hold against Bush, the fact that he was caught driving under the influence...I'm just perplexed that his supporters ignore the numerous flaws he has in the area and the double standard they have against anyone that they are opposed. Just as with Clinton's one eyed snake in the trousers issue....one would never think that a Republican would never let theirs see the light or for that matter the darkness of the back seat of a Chevy down by the levee.
And for the likes of Prolife, Watson and the other so-called Christians, it is doubly a standard of a hypocrite. Just to give you another example of religious hyprocrisy was the primary election yesterday in Alabama...one candidate had to survive a late smear campaign ...and get this. The charge was that he had received funding from JEWS. I give you 100-1 odds those that sent out this flyer would call themselves Christians...and don't forget that Bush is proposing that our federal tax dollars are to be given to faith based organizations...my question? What faith gets the money. My phone books shows about 40 pages of different faiths? Surely...there should be only one entry as there are those here on SI that will tell you that there is only one GOD.
