I have not used the product, so I don't know.

I was told the canned stuff were sold in grocery stores in the poor districts of Manila. So I presume it should not cost more than Spam which is made from the odds and ends of meat leftovers in the abattoirs (including the dicks of the animals!)

Eating of rats (and snakes) is not a recent phenomena. In centuries past, when the Portuguese and Dutch laid siege to coastal cities in the East Indies (S.E. Asia) the starved native folks resorted to eating rats and snakes.

One rice planter said, "It's fair ball: the rats eat my rice, I eat the rats. My kids have lots of fun, too, smoking them out of holes in the ground and chasing them around in the open until ......"

Dog is fine, if roasted slowly on a spit. Some say Schnauzer is superior to Poodle. Dachsund makes good sausage. Garnish with ant, cockroach and worm. Put anything at all on it for flavour. Just make sure you put lots. Horse is good food. Similarly mule, racoon, crow, canary and prairie dog.

It's all protein. Geez, I'm hungry, how about you?
