It was worth waking up way early and watch it today. Damn good game They shocked the Portugese with first goal and then their own goal...at that point Portugese starting to play but oo late...the third goal really busted the Portugese confidence for good. Portugese really dug themselves a big hole now. There 3 young Americans that could be next to play in EPL: Donovan, Beasley, McBride.

JRI, There is little doubt that the World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world along with the summer olympics.
There is nothing even close.

btw-I don't really like watching soccer but the world cup is something else--on such a large international scale. .
