Dipy, the company I work at is a leading company here in the US. It has tons of money. Even a company such as that does not pull out existing equipment just because it is 10 years old. They try to milk it as much as they can. The opulence that we witnessed in the US 30 years ago is no more. Even a rich country such as the US cannot afford to display that degree of opulence any longer. And it is the same with the UK. DEcaying infrastructure in the UK and the US is a concrete proof of that.
