Stu, income (loss) due to operations, investment activities, etc. are irrelevant in determining taxes due to option exercise, imho. Only income (loss) due to option exercise is relevant. Obviously, revenues and expenses to determine that income (loss) are relevant too.

So would you mind trying again to determine if argument A or argument B is correct? .. considering only items related to the option exercise? Message 17561318
