re: The Comeback Trail. It would be nice if Sprint and VZ would get off their ass. Looks like VZ ordered its tri-mode phones from K-mart -- and they don't work yet. I don't know what happened to Sprint, " The most advanced all digital network in the world." At least they are close unlike some others. Cheers to KDDI for actually launching. Meanwhile, the world holds its breath.

Hmm, I guess that was a response to the Bleedin' EDGE comment I made.

Who does more damage, a well-intentioned Doctor who makes a possibly erroneous yet innocuous comment about the number of handsets or a bunch of infra and handset sellers who have done and said all kinds of ludicrous things to induce the poor suffering carriers to commit to blindly walk the plank?

When the main gig, WCDMA, is an apparent dud, they pull out the second string, EDGE, which will only cost a few dollars more and is just an easy, handy dandy software upgrade away. Riiiiight.

Oh, and by they way, got this bridge in Brooklyn selling real cheap.

Nelson comes to mind. He's got a huge red "S" tattooed on his forehead to mark him as a "sucker".

Yeah, I like that bit of idiom I just coined to describe the Nokia hype--"primrose pathed."

Now, about that fourfold increase in capacity brought on by AMR......LMAO!!!!
