Hitting 10 and backing off would not surprise me.

I agree, to get more there needs to be a real bullish statement, and so far that doesn't seem to be the case. Ellison wasn't even prepared to say that "guidance is unchanged" which makes me think that even .13 is somewhat unlikely.

Still, with the consensus opinions dropping and everybody expecting a warning, this is relatively good news and probably enough to keep the stock in the 8-10 range.

MeD: Maria Fartaroma just panned LE's statement, saying "...what is all the fuss?", as if she has some insight into the final numbers. Talk about power in the hands of idiots and $ journalism hitting a new low her "what's the big news?" comments were a prime example. One thing you have to say for Larry he has balls. JFD
