Dag, no pool? And you call yourself a Southern Californian! -gggg-

I was told by a friend in Northern Cal that what I paid for my pool would buy a large spa in his neighborhood. When I told my sister (who has always had a house with a pool) I was putting in a pool, she said, "You know its just a hole in the ground that you throw money into."
