Anybody been flying lately? I haven't been on a Plane since 9/18. Culled this from a column today. Nobody Wants to Be First People are learning. If you don't want to be subjected to a full body, shoe and bag search at the boarding gate of your favorite airline, don't, whatever you do, be the first to board. Here's an interesting e-mail from one of our fantastic listeners: I flew out of Hartsfield last night to a northeast city on a first class ticket. When the gate agent made the announcement to board first class, no one moved. No one. I sat reading my newspaper, peeping over the paper to see who would be first. The agent then called for boarding the elite frequent flyers ... and no one moved. No one. After a few minutes, the agent said, " OK ... let's just board all seats on flight XXX." After the first hapless passenger was pulled aside, I boarded. Just how long do you think it would take for a potential terrorist to figure this out?
