Amy: It is just the way it is all being spun by the media and what sheep the present generation of investors are. "So, the economy makes this still iffy. And there's more goblins to scare the economy these days (terrorism, dollar, deficit spending, exec corruption, India/Pakistan, Middle East war, etc.)" I don't remember a time in my life when any one of the above and or all three weren't going on even during the roaring '90's - it is all a matter of restoring confidence. What everyone forgets is that while the Arabs were taxing us by higher oil dopey AG was killing the markets with unnecessary rate hikes. All of this would not have been so cataclysmic if it weren't for that tightening. Add to that the drama of 9/11 and everyone most notably corp. execs. are messing their pants and wringing their hands while the regular folks are out doing their everyday thing and spending away. I ramble but this thing will turn and the sheep will come like crazy and create a new bubble.JFD
