Remember Long Term Capital Management?

They thought that all Treasury trading was highly liquid, too.

Then they discovered that the magic of off-the-run vs on-the-run.

Trade the current 10 year, 5 year, or most any T-bill, and they're liquid. But, as you said, anything in between, and liquidity is a big issue.

Thanks, you obviously have more knowledge than I do, about this.

It's an encouraging sign of a bottom, when gold and Treasuries are the topics on the Cisco thread. 2 years ago, who would have thought that was even remotely possible?
