Doesn't look like MER and its group of high profiled analysts are helping the recent MER situation. Changing major ratings within weeks, changing views, without much reason. It would really help if MER can get their act together.

A further downtrend in the semis will surely crash the Nasdaq. Another major bear move in the markets will not help the financials like MER. Without investment banking and trading revenues, MER could go under with the looming suits from everyone.

MER's analysts should not talk to the investment banking people but it now seems that they don't even talk to their economist when they issue new reports. They appear to change ratings on individual stocks with technical analysis.
