Mea Culpa. I was assuming that you were responding to the current law suit.

Since you are talking about history, I suggest that you look at more current information. As you may have guessed, anyone can file suit against anyone.

The whole thing is a vipers tangle. As you recall one of the first suits was filed by CE Generation (El Paso + MidAmerican) against SoCal Edison for non-payment. They won that round, and made the State of California PUC cave.

I look at the whole issue as 'cost of doing business'. The pipeline company recovers their legal fees from increased rates. IMHO, EP is not an Enron. They will get sued, and sue. And do OK.
