I was wondering about PCS too, but how many other affiliates do they have with shaky finances? Ashley

Well, the good thing about the affiliates. Is that most of them do not own the spectrum in the markets they operate in. The use Sprints spectrum. Which makes them basically valueless as a stand-alone enterprise.

Which means if they do default. The only company that would be interested in buying them in Bankruptcy would be Sprint itself. After all, how much is a bunch of older networking infrastructure worth if you don't have the regulatory approval to operate it?

So Sprint could offer a couple of dollars for it in BK, and walk away with a debt free network.
