In a bull market you stay long and buy poots on occasional downside risk, in a bear you stay short and buy calls on occasional upside risk. Those options are always the cheapest.

psss I'm still figuring out what to do when we find "the tides in". That is the bubble has collapsed and our brokers have gone bust but have our "winnings". I would have thought all the commission generated during a crash would be bullish for brokers though.

Just covered KLAC made about 7 bucks a share on it. Still short LRCX
