Part of owning bullion, is actually having it in your possession, otherwise I might as well own the miners..JMO..

Unless someone is just an outright crook, the gold and silver are there in a bank vault and, on top of that, are insured. That's safer than the Krugerrands, Maple Leafs, and Venezuelan Caciques that I have in a safe deposit box. If someone cracks that safe, I am just out of luck.

Has anyone suggested that the U.S. government go back issuing gold certificates for those who want them? If they sell Eagles I don't see why they couldn't sell paper Eagles at a 5% premium to the current price of gold.
