There's no logic in that statement. Alternatively, wealth is almost always accumulated by tax deferred mechanisms. OK, you said "almost always. So the vast increase in US wealth since the passage of the income tax is almost entirely due to that tax? Is this your story? Gee, you can't even keep your quotes straight in the same post.
