Yep, like a million bucks or there about. $998,000 for the second hand MIG and $2 large for the widow and orphans.

Beats having the 15 crew members held for years, drug through court and still paying a ransom in the end.

We also paid the Russians to airlift our damaged plane out. They had a big enough plane to do the job. BTW, ever see the Norwegian ship that carried the USS Cole home?
