You're responding to me, not Michael. I made similar points to him.
I think the problem, though (to be fair), is that if the market is shrinking, ORCL may be doing fine and taking business.....but investors hate any indication of a shrinking market.
Personally, I disagree with that sentiment. Markets fluctuate, and if it's shrinking now, then there will come a time when that reverses itself. Should ORCL continue to win share, that will allow ORCL to take advantage of its position as the market leader.
Everyone is such a short-termer now, it's ridiculous.
