take over the Secret Service, the Coast Guard, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Border Patrol, the Customs Service and the new agency in charge of airport security, the Transportation Security Administration ... an "intelligence and threat analysis" unit to synthesize intelligence from those agencies and others. Sounds right to me for a start. Unfortunately the FBI will be forced to compete with these guys since the FBI has a target painted on the foreheads. <Rhetorical Question> Why do so many smart people settle for simplistic answers? </Rhetorical Question> Paul
