It's sure starting to look that way. I think book value is about 3 bucks, with about a quarter of that in net cash. It should be worth that to somebody.

It's a pity, really.

I hear Dubya is going to spend the evening trying to bring the mood down even more, in order to make his political job easier. I guess he doesn't realize that the capital markets, like the military, are part of the strength of this country, and that they're strongly influenced by sentiment. When was the last time you heard about an IPO coming to market?

I think we will see a very large Wall St. Solaris defection
to Linux soon taking Sun down another leg. I think it will
bottom in the vicinity of $5.
