larry i think we are definitely on the same page. i think the inflation thing is here but as usual the gov't is cooking the books. i have found very little that is not more expensive...of course what i count they don't such as gas, groc, medical ins etc etc. the one thing that has gone down in price is stocks. maybe the gov't counts stock prices in their calc of inflation? between the gov't books and the ws crooks life is tough unless one is very nimble. i see 1468 then 1375 mary
