I read you Carl...and that's the way i took your chart fwiw.

It's just that i think the base kind of stinks(pardon the pun)<g> GM looks kind of cliffy below 47 or so on the daily, and while it waffles around between the 50 and 200 sdma's anything could happen.

It's certainly entering a pretty oversold condition where it would want to bounce at the 200dma and the top of that gap at 57...and if it does, that means it sets up a smaller H/S that measures to support at 46.

Unbelievable insider selling at GM as well. With the NYSE Bullish percent Index just rolling over to a sell from the 70% level, which is pretty uncommon in the last 47 years or so, why chance it is my only reasoning.

Heres a subsidiary of GM hughes with what i consider to be a pretty good base, albiet with a higher valuation...very tame insider action as well
