Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "The only contrast I clearly understand is trying to separate the death of combatants from the death of non-combatants."

I think we've already talked the morality to death. I just want the numbers, not the sanctimonious, self serving, and blindly one-sided interpretations from the bloody handed participants.

Re: "Anyway you slice it, the overall Palestinian death numbers are much higher, but their proportion of non-combatant deaths very much lower."

Oh yeah, I left off another part of the Official Israeli Slant:

(4) Any Palestinian with a weapon is a terrorist. Killing him or her counts as a defensive action by Israel.

(5) Any Israeli soldier with a weapon is defending Israel.

(6) Any Israeli civilian with a weapon is simply defending himself.

By the way, did you notice that the latest bus bombing killed 13 Israeli soldiers but only 4 civilians? I guess the Palestinians are improving their morality. At this rate, pretty soon they'll be as spotlessly pure and clean as the Israelis.
