I didn't like "Oath of Fealty" by them a lot, but I thought "Lucifer's Hammer" was great, too.

Which, reminded me of "The Stand".

But, my favorite Stephen King is his "The Dark Tower" series. I heard they may make it into a movie.

Why do you hate to admit to liking Niven and Pournelle?

Agree on Lucifer's Hammer, I thought it was a very believable scenario.

The ending wasn't very PC, which may explain why it was never made into a movie.
