One of the interesting aspects of the analog business is how the little guys keep surviving. TXN has always played the "big 'ol Texas bad boy" and tried to do an inhell repeat of the sector. For example NSM and ADI were supposed to be toast several times over by now. But they manage to dart past the opponent an kick him in the shins time and time again.

I used to work for a company that used to kick NSM in the shins in the same way until TXN bought them out. TXN has bought several smaller companies for competitive reasons. I wonder if the small company advantage is preserved after the buy out?? Yep. in a head on slug out TXN wafer fabs (bigger 'an better... Texas style) will win against any competitor. Opponents will try to use analog design to stump the 'ol bad boy once again. -g-

These guys are good -g-
