well futures were down 40 right after the call but now down 33. Maybe cooler heads will prevail tomorrow.

Well.... bubbles take a while to deflate. Does Intel deserve a p/s of over 5 and a forward pe of nearly 30 with no growth? Why should we pay that when we wouldn't pay that much for non techs?

It's time we realized that the pc industry is:

A). Cyclical
B). Past it's prime growth rates
C). Seeing a lengthening in that pc upgrade cycle much like the auto industry after cars improved so much that we didn't "need" a new one.... the difference is that cars are a status symbol and pcs are not (in general).
D). Until there is a real "need" for speed or pcs break, it's going to be an industry without much growth.

I think THE bottom is going to look like Dell.... flat for a long while and there is no rush to buy.
