After all the rhetoric, I see this. dashie has had the Senate agenda defined for him thru the congressional elections. He can lead or just be himself. He can lose or he can lose. In general the Federal Government is random mess in terms of a lot of it organizations. This is a good forum for fixing and eliminating waste and the money saved can be used to defend America. The Dems were all taking about making security their big issue. The President has said, great go to it. LOL and thank you.... The failure that caused 9-11 was I believe mostly in mindset. In the FBI, CIA and for all Americans there is a different mindset. I believe the vast majority of those responsible for the security of America are extremely distressed and blame themselves for 9-11. That is the changed mindset. PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH knows this and endless outside recriminations are counter-productive. So another benefit of this proposal is it gets all thinking about creating solutions. This evening in one of the networks a woman who spoke with hijacker atta explained how the way he acted and the questions and statements he made painted the picture of 9-11. But she did not connect the dots and she did nothing. As her story ended almost in tears she said something like this. If you ask my why I did not know, you cannot ask me more then I ask myself. I have to live with this for the rest of my life. In my opinion anyone who does not understand this does not understand what makes Americans great. That is the attitude of Americans. That attitude is fixed and all the noise of taking heads or motor mouth dems has little to no impact on this mindset. The mindset is the solution. The reoganization will have some benefits of efficiency, it especially will keep congress spinning it wheels and out of the way of the good folks keeping America safe. So I see it as a brilliant political, and practical functional move that will directly and indirectly make America safe. tom watson tosiwmee
