ZRAN should be a good candidate as well as GNSS. You may want to wait few days, however.

I've been watching GNSS(part of the Q) a company involved in DVD technology.

You might want to look at ESST, CRUS, and ZRAN since GNSS, I believe, is in flat panel displays.

Just because demand should increase, this doesn't mean there's piles of cash waiting for these companies. Money always attracts others to enter.

The movie industry is fighting writeable DVD players but I sure hope they fail. It should be a killer product.

Captaintime,

I think you want to doublecheck GNSS. They produce chipsets for flat panel displays. They will benefit from digital TV and HDTV but not neccesarily DVD. I think recordable DVD technology for the home is still a ways off. The big vendors are stilling fighting format wars and nobody seems ready to back down. In the mean time, hard disk TV recording seems to be taking off quickly (TiVo, SonicBlue). The digital market may not play out exactly like the VHS market did.

FWIW,
Paul
