Bullish Percent charts are based on P&F buy signals, but they have been adopted by other chartist as well.

Here is an example of the BPSPX chart as a line chart. There are several chartist on SI who use this version of the BP chart and look for the crossing over of the 50dma or 200dma. This often corresponds to a signal on the P&F chart. It turns out that often the Bullish Support Line (BSL) or Bearish Resistance Line (BRL) will correspond to major moving averages.
