Sound analysis, from Fox News of all places. S&P 500 only 20-something points from falling back into three-digit-country again.

If it wasn't for half of America putting $50 a week into 401(k) plans through payroll deduction, the Dow would be at 8,000 today and the S&P 500 at 800.

I guess it's all Bill Clinton's fault.

Meanwhile, the WSJ keeps turning out one Big Business Obscenity story after another. The latest headline-grabber is Tyco, the latest "company" lost in the Bermuda Triangle.
