Ok. Sounds like a reasonable approach to me. Leadership is what gets process changes done. I think Sun, Oracle and BEA should be in there tomorrow pitching the killer all-integrated, all-dancing, all-synthizing computer system that will knows what collar bra an FBI agent is wearing before she wakes up.

What we now know is these guys think "Google" is a comic strip. Their computer skills are pathetic. They can't search for "Flight" and "Schools" at the same time on their data base? Give me a break!

My understanding was that they weren't ALLOWED to google. As I understand it, they weren't allowed to go digging about without probable cause and possibly a warrant. The FBI was restricted to being a reactive agency that was, essentially, the Fed's detectives. Which is fine, if all you want the FBI to do is investigate run of the mill criminal activity...
