BUSINESS ALERT from The Wall Street Journal

The U.S. unemployment rate fell unexpectedly to 5.8% in May from 6%. But
employers added a smaller-than-anticipated 41,000 jobs last month, and
April's gain was revised sharply lower. All of May's payroll gains came in
the service sector.
